FREE virtual training sessions for care home staff – March dates announced

HERE’S just a quick reminder of the remote training sessions that are coming up during March. I hope that you and your residents will be able to take advantage of these topics. Delivered via our new virtual training centre, this initiative is designed to enhance the competencies of your staff, as well as provide an opportunity for them to raise any questions on each of the topics. It is provided free of charge by the Airedale and Partners Enhanced Health in Care Homes vanguard. All our tailored sessions are run by qualified trainers from the Airedale Digital Care Hub and Manorlands Hospice.

The topics we are covering in dedicated sessions during March 2017 include:

Inhaler Technique Training

10th March – 2.00pm
24th March – 2.00pm

We are extending our free training sessions later this month with a new topic that will be of benefit to many of your residents. For the first time, our virtual training programme will include advice on the best use of inhalers. Any care home in Bradford, Airedale and East Lancashire can take part in this session. The free sessions will be led by one of our respiratory specialist nurses and will last approximately 30 minutes. READ MORE
